The Challenge
The growing requirements of Transcosmos America, a fully-owned subsidiary of Transcosmos Inc., drove the need to establish an operational presence in Mexico. Expanding operations into new locations requires meticulous planning and extensive research.
Transcosmos needed a partner capable of identifying the most suitable location for a nearshore operation — one with access to bilingual talent, competitive salaries, strong infrastructure, and the scalability to support long-term growth across its global network.
The Solution
Intugo is committed to analyzing clients’ needs and expanding its nearshore service network across Mexico. For Transcosmos America, Intugo conducted a broad study to identify the most suitable location for a nearshore operation.
Mexico City was selected as the ideal choice and Tecnoparque, a renowned technology campus, was chosen as the preferred site. Intugo carried out a thorough feasibility study, analyzing the availability of bilingual talent in the area, evaluating salaries comprehensively, and assessing infrastructure rigorously.
Intugo’s role extended beyond determining a proper location. The company also evaluated the scalability of the selected site, ensuring it could accommodate future growth and demand fluctuations — including estimating the availability of a qualified talent pool to meet staffing needs.
Intugo’s recruitment and selection services have been vital in helping Transcosmos America’s team expansion.
Outcomes
Operations at the Mexico City facility commenced in May 2023. The strategically selected space offers exceptional scalability, accommodating up to 337 workstations within 6,600 square meters — ensuring ample room for Transcosmos to expand its team and meet future growth demands.
Transcosmos America now has over 30 employees on-site and growing. By leveraging Intugo’s expertise in outsourcing to Mexico, Transcosmos optimized operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Additionally, the TecnoParque location offers excellent connectivity to metro and bus stations, universities, sports and commercial centers, and essential services like hospitals and hotels. The campus boasts modern amenities, including office spaces, commercial areas, recreational zones, security filters, and ample parking to ensure comfort and safety.
Around Mexico, Mexico City has the highest number of call center workers in 2025.
