In Search of a Back-Office Support Provider

Camino Promotions, a U.S.-based company, needed a nearshore administrative provider to support growing workloads in lead generation, sales operations, and legal functions. Establishing operations independently in Mexico would have taken up to six months. Intugo supplied a ready-to-use back-office operation near the U.S.–Mexico border and handled recruitment and HR-related processes for the team.

Providing a Comprehensive Nearshore Setup

Intugo worked closely with Camino Promotions to identify hiring needs and recruit qualified talent to support growing operations in Hermosillo. The recruited roles included legal assistants, paralegals, appointment setters, and sales representatives. Since launching nearshore operations, Camino Promotions has expanded from five agents to more than 280 employees, supported by Intugo’s infrastructure.

In addition to recruitment, Intugo provided HR and administrative support, including procurement, payroll processing, vacation management, and ongoing employee assistance. This support allowed Camino Promotions to focus on its core business operations. Bob Wannamaker, President of Camino Promotions, noted that travel to Hermosillo for operational oversight is convenient and mentioned the proximity of San Carlos Beach, located about an hour away.

To support this goal, Intugo assigned a dedicated HR team to Camino Promotions, providing ongoing support that contributes to workforce stability and growth. Regular oversight visits by Camino Promotions’ leadership help maintain alignment between the U.S. and nearshore teams and reinforce a unified company culture.

Camino Promotions plans to continue expanding its operations in Mexico, growing to more than six office areas within Intugo’s Girasol facility in Hermosillo. The company will continue relying on Intugo’s nearshore solutions to support this expansion. The partnership allows Camino Promotions to scale its team in Mexico using an established operational setup.
