In Search of Talent

A US facility services company faced a surge in accounts payable invoices, requiring additional personnel. The main goal was to optimize operations by maximizing what they could achieve with their budget. As a result, the company pursued a nearshore service provider aligned with their US-based teams’ time zones. Intugo was selected to recruit experienced Accounts Payable professionals with strong English capabilities, general knowledge of accounting procedures, data entry skills, and exceptional customer service abilities. At this time, the goal was to seamlessly integrate Mexican talent into the company’s operations, guaranteeing efficient communication and collaboration with stakeholders in the accounts payable process.

The client plans to duplicate its 100-employee US accounting team in Mexico.

Comprehensive Talent Solution

Markedly, at Intugo, we began by providing a transparent cost estimation summary for the desired position in our various physical locations and through remote arrangements. The cost estimation included salary analysis for profiles with different years of experience, additional employee benefits, co-working space rent, HR suggestions, and other details to support their team expansion plans in Mexico. Initially conservative, the client grew confident in the Intugo model and expanded the recruitment to include five different accounting roles: accounts payable, accounts receivable, staff accountants, payroll processors, and collections personnel.

Building a Cohesive Accounting Team

The enterprise US accounting department consists of approximately 100 employees. Concurrently, the CFO envisions duplicating the team in Mexico without reducing the domestic workforce. Instead of focusing solely on cost reduction, the emphasis is on cultivating a stable, cohesive workforce with minimal turnover. The Shared Services Senior Manager underscores the importance of a shared business culture between the US and Mexican teams, fostering a unified, family-like atmosphere. Regular oversight visits to Guadalajara ensure the nearshore employees feel like part of the company, not just an extension.

Accounting Team Department

“Intugo made it very easy to start hiring employees because they took care of all the legalities while I focused on training my new people. What I like about that is that we have the same flexibility to engage with our employees and maintain the same culture with our in-house team and our Intugo team.”
